Essential Functions

• 1) Accurately delivers completed prescriptions or product to patient and collects/processes payments in cash register.
• 2) Assists patients and answers phone with attention to customer service.
• 3) Assists in performing over the counter (OTC) inventory functions including stock replenishment, removing expired/recalled items, and ensuring pricing integrity.
• 4) Enter patient demographic and insurance information into pharmacy software system quickly and accurately.
• 5) Communicates to other staff any information that is necessary for ensuring the effective operation of the pharmacy.
• 6) Assists in all facets of regulatory compliance and performs duties according to policy and procedures of the department.
