Job summary

Family & Children's Services is seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy support teammate in Oklahoma City to handle front-line duties in prescription pickup, intake, and customer service. You will operate the register, process payments, and maintain accurate cash counts while protecting patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include inventory management, data entry in the pharmacy system, and assisting with general workflow.

Qualifications

Job description

• Cash register operations — Operate the register during prescription pickup, process cash/credit transactions, obtain signatures, maintain accurate cash counts, and prepare daily deposit reports.
• Prescription intake — Receive new written prescriptions, verify patient information, and enter data into the pharmacy system before routing to technicians or pharmacists.
• Customer service — Greet patients, answer non‑clinical questions, direct calls, assist with OTC product location, and manage drop‑off/pick‑up flow.
• Inventory support — Stock medications, rotate inventory, check expiration dates, unpack shipments, and maintain organized shelves.
• Record management — File prescriptions, maintain patient records, process third‑party documents, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Workflow support — Place filled prescriptions in will‑call, monitor waiting prescriptions, deliver medications to other sites, and keep work areas clean.
• Additional duties — as requested.
