Job summary

MMC Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Cashier in Meadville, PA to process payments, assist customers, and maintain organized OTC shelves. You will greet customers, answer questions, and ensure accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Additional business and medical training preferred.
• Must type 40 words per minute and be efficient with data entry equipment.
• Must apply appropriate rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Knowledge of computers a necessity. Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess the ability to prioritize activities, organize work and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide information on product availability, use and pricing.
• Greet customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
• Answer questions and resolve issues regarding their payment transactions.
• Ensure OTC and supply shelves are stocked and organized.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow pharmacy regulations and maintain compliance with all applicable laws.
• Remain up to date with new products, services, and other relevant information.
• Assist in any other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Supervisor.

• The Pharmacy Cashier must alsopossessexcellent communication skills and be able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Responsibilities include but are not limitedto:processing payments,assistingcustomers with purchases, greeting customers, and answering questions
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures including processing checks, debitcardsand credit cards against accounts, issuing receipts, keeping track of accounts payable for customers,countingmoneyand documenting any discrepancies as needed.
