PanCare of Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to join our team. You will welcome customers, assist with prescription orders, and support medication preparation under supervision of a pharmacist. You will handle inventory, data entry, and patient questions while ensuring confidentiality and safety.

In this role, you will work on accurate labeling, inventory control, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards in a fast-paced setting, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or pharmacy technician certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist customers with prescriptions, OTC products, and medication inquiries; provide usage guidance under a pharmacist.
• Assist in preparing prescription orders with accuracy, labeling, and correct dosages.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder medications, and manage storage to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system; maintain accurate records.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety protocols for handling medications and patient data.
• Organize medications and safely dispose of expired products per policy.
• Answer calls, handle inquiries, and support administrative tasks (filing, faxing, data entry).
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
