Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Grow knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and record keeping.
• Maintain records and security on scheduled drugs (controlled substances).
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals, reference materials, and equipment.
• Ensure proper signage and cleanliness in all areas.
• Continuously broaden pharmacy knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
