Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, adding, subtracting).
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Ability to communicate in a second language (written/spoken).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state, and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to Kroger dress standards.
• Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition.
• Contribute to a positive pharmacy department image with service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, and budgeting per policy.
• Maintain records and security for scheduled drugs and controlled substances.
• Follow procedures for handling products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and audits are used properly.
• Keep records compliant with Kroger policies and state laws.
• Maintain a neat, sanitary customer-facing area.
• Handle product returns per policy and keep equipment in working order.
• Ensure staff is trained on policies and safety equipment.
• Maintain signage and continue professional development in pharmacy skills.
