Job summary

Walgreens in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a Retail Customer Service Specialist who will greet customers, operate the cash register, and provide courteous checkout service while upholding store standards.

You will also support pharmacy workflow under supervision, assist the pharmacist with patient and drug information, and help with inventory, cash handling, and store cleanliness. Training includes certifications and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle returns.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision with patient and drug information.
• Support pharmacy workflow and inventory management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise presentation.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and compliance policies.
• Provide photo area service and assist customers with digital prints.
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities and assist with order pickups.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
