Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data and manage patient registrations according to national and federal regulations.
• Process prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter fill-up orders.
• Identify and resolve missing prescription data, translate clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve exceptions.
• Handle customer correspondence across inbound calls, chats, and emails and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients.
• Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing records, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing.
• Make telephone calls to insurers and others to obtain required information or override approvals.
• Assist pharmacists and co‑workers, identifying issues and communicating them to senior staff.
• Obtain and maintain an active pharmacy technician license or certification within the first 90 days and keep it current.
