Qualifications

• 3 Years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician.
• California Pharmacy Technician License (TCH) - CA State Board of Pharmacy -REQUIRED
• 2 Years experience in purchasing of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board -PREFERRED
• Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and database management.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management and control
• Returns overstocked / mis-ordered items to vendors and obtains credit when possible
• Organizes and maintains an organized inventory shelving system and workspace
• Coordinates and communicates short dated items among buyers to prevent waste
