Job summary

CaroMont Health is seeking a Senior Accountant for Pharmacy Services to handle accounting, reporting, and data analysis. The role will analyze internal and external pharmacy financials, billings for variances, and provide actionable analyses to leadership.

You will conduct weekly to annual reporting, recommend operational improvements, and troubleshoot data and systems within CaroMont. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of healthcare data analytics experience with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years healthcare/clinical experience required with an emphasis in data analytics and pharmacy.
  • Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate varied activities, and significant ability to troubleshoot data anomalies.
  • Candidates should also possess working knowledge of pharmacy programs, products, and automation such as automated dispensing cabinets, carousel or robot, advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of computers and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of Epic a plus.
  • Apexus 340B University certification within 180 days of hiring and maintain.

  • Analyze internal and external pharmacy financials; billings, charging for variances and discrepancies.
  • Provide actionable analyses and reports to leadership.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding operations, processes, technology, and other areas from analysis.
  • Maintain departmental systems through data loads, validation, reconciliations and troubleshooting.
  • Develop financial, operational and data analyses; determine usage assessments from purchase history.
  • Assist pharmacy department personnel and other departments within CaroMont.
  • Oversight of 340B program operations; update and maintain 340B software and procedures.

Job Summary: To perform the accounting, management reporting and data analysis duties for Pharmacy Services within CaroMont. Analyzes internal and external pharmacy financials, billing charging for variances and discrepancies. Provides actionableand meaningful analyses and reports to leadership. Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Makes recommendations to management regarding operations, processes, technology, and other pertinent areas derived from analysis. Maintains departmental systems through data loads, data validation and reconciliations, and systemtroubleshooting. Develops financial, operational, and data analysis. Determines usage assessments based on purchase history. Assists various pharmacy department personnel and other departments within CaroMont. Understanding of 340B operations, rules and regulations. Assist in internal and external auditing. Responsible for daily oversight of 340B Program operations including updating, operating, and maintaining all aspects of CaroMont’s 340B software and Policy and Procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent work experience. Five years healthcare/clinical experience required with an emphasis in data analytics and pharmacy. Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate varied activities, and significant ability to troubleshoot data anomalies. Candidates should also possess working knowledge of pharmacy programs, products, and automation such as automated dispensing cabinets, carousel or robot, advanced knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of computers and peripherals. Candidate displays the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Knowledge of Epic a plus. Obtain certification of Apexus 340B University within 180 days of hiring and maintain.
