Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician Intern to support the pharmacy team in processing and filling physician orders. Under supervision, you will assist with automation, medication distribution, and liaison with nursing to ensure timely patient care.

The role requires a valid intern license eligibility or Georgia Board registration, a high school diploma, and basic computer skills.

Formación

• Current registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy internship eligibility within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Process and fill physician orders under supervision.
• Operate robotic systems and stock medications for automated dispensing.
• Ensure medications reach patients in a timely manner and liaise with nursing.
• Maintain accuracy by following USP 797 and department policies.
• Assist with controlled substances handling and quality checks.
