Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of a Staff Pharmacist. You will process and fill physician orders, work with robotic systems, and support the delivery of medications to patients across age groups.

The role requires Georgia Board of Pharmacy registration and a high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates have hospital experience of at least one year; pharmacy tech school or retail experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hospital experience of at least one year preferred; pharmacy tech school or pharmacy retail experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Robot software to evaluate medication processing and print manual pick lists.
• Stock robot with medications and supplies to maintain workflow and prepare medications for automated dispensing.
• Maintain and monitor Pacmed production, ensuring meds are delivered in a timely manner to patients.
• Coordinate with nursing and physicians to resolve medication discrepancies and ensure safe, accurate distribution.
