Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an intern-licensed pharmacy technician to support medication processing under the supervision of a Staff Pharmacist. You will assist with robot-assisted dispensing, unit-dose packaging, and patient liaison activities to ensure timely delivery of medications.

The role requires a GA Board of Pharmacy intern registration and a high school diploma or GED; hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform Entry Level pharmacy technician functions efficiently and proficiently.
• Basic math aptitude and ability to measure accurately.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Robot software to evaluate medication processing and print manual pick lists.
• Stock robot with medications and supplies to maintain efficient workflow.
• Process and label IV medications and distribute to correct areas.
