Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• One year of hospital IT experience or one year of supporting a major clinical information system.
• HS diploma/ GED with applicable experience; substitute options available.
• Licensure in a medically related field may substitute education/experience.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory processes.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Support inpatient pharmacy operations and act as SME for pharmacy automation systems.
• Oversee daily and monthly controlled substance monitoring.
• Assist with workflow optimization and staff training.
• Partner with pharmacy leadership and enterprise peers.
• Participate in Medication Management meetings.
• Assist with end-user documentation and training materials.
• Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all SDLC phases with direction.
