Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, seeks a Pharmacy Automation Coordinator I to assist in the maintenance and basic operation of pharmacy automation, under the supervision of senior staff.

You will support day-to-day automation functions, collaborate with pharmacy personnel on routine technical issues, and participate in system data collection, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in pharmacy automation systems.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• PHAR-C - Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) certification required

Responsibilities

• Assists in the maintenance and basic operation of pharmacy automation, hardware and other systems under supervision.
• Supports day-to-day functions of automation and other technologies and works with pharmacy personnel to address routine technical issues.
• Participates in system data collection, system training and provides input for system improvements
