Job summary

Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in Tukwila is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists on-site. The role involves filing, counting medications, stocking supplies, triaging calls, and non-patient packaging with proper records and billing.

Schedule includes weekdays with rotating weekend coverage, all performed at the Tukwila facility. Required Washington Pharmacy Assistant License at hire and basic PC skills (Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• Experience using a personal computer and common software applications such as Word and Excel.
• Retail, infusion, or long-term care pharmacy experience.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 10:30am-7pm, rotating weekend coverage (9am-5:30pm)

This position will be working onsite at our Tukwila facility.

This position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in providing pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Assistant performs non-discretionary functions as allowed by law which include filing, counting medications, stocking medications, answering and triage of phone calls, non-patient specific drug packaging with appropriate documentation and billing functions. Additional duties that may be assigned are outlined in the Ancillary Personnel Utilization Plan.
