Job summary

ScriptPro’s Pharmacy Accounts Receivable Support Representative role supports the Financial Advantage initiative by managing prescription transaction payments, reconciling accounts, generating reports, and resolving issues in customers' pharmacy reconciliation platforms.

The position requires attention to detail, collaboration with payers and team members, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements. On-site two days per week with hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a retail pharmacy technician.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage and organize data files.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and insurance payers.
• Monitor and manage the import of client sales transmissions.
• Retrieve, download, and input payment file data.
• Monitor and import daily deposit data.
• Reconcile payments and remittance details.
• Investigate and resolve payment exceptions.
• Provide responsive and professional customer service.
• Collaborate with other team members and customers to ensure data accuracy and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation of processes and procedures to support consistency and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to system enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements related to patient and payment data.
• Perform additional duties and support projects as assigned.
