Job summary

Ascension Health's Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo Pharmacy is seeking a part-time team member in Kokomo, IN.

You will refill and maintain automated dispensing systems, prepare orders, and support sterile and non-sterile compounding, while ensuring accurate inventory and smooth operations in the Pharmacy department. The role requires Indiana licensure or in-training credentials, high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to triage calls and liaise between patients, pharmacists and health

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience.
• Licensure/credentials in Indiana pharmacy practice are required or in training.
• Preferred national or state pharmacy tech credentials.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• One or more of the following:

• Intern Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• In Training Pharmacy Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
