Job summary

Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is hiring a Pharmacy Associate to prepare healthcare accreditation surveys and educate stakeholders. The role focuses on virtual surveys, scheduling, and coordinating with ACHC Account Advisors and Customer Care Specialists to optimize customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Pharmacy Technician with 2+ years in specialty, infusion, or compounding, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active, certified Pharmacy Technician with 2+ years’ experience in specialty, infusion, or 503a/503b compounding pharmacy.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and customer service experience.
• Experience with non-sterile and sterile compounding, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and DMEPOS CMS compliance is a plus.
• Proficient with computer systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual information calls (VICs) with customers ahead of surveys.
• Coordinate HR file reviews for large health-systems and move files as needed.
• Update VIC Monday board and schedule VIC calls.
• Communicate with scheduling on accommodation and accreditation dates.
• Review surveyor travel approvals and expense reports.
• Assist Account Advisors in educating pharmacy customers.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and payers to support ACHC interests.
• Complete continuing education as required and stay current with pharmacy rules.
• Provide interpretation and guidance for customers and staff.
• Participate in Pharmacy Review Committee activities.
• Review survey and compliance docs and follow up with staff.
• Assist various ACHC departments on projects.
