Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Pharmacy Account Manager to support regional pharmacy benefit management strategies and collaboration with PBM field sales teams. This role combines strategic consultative efforts with operational execution to optimize outcomes for health plans and members.

In Durham/Winston-Salem area, the position requires a BA/BS and 3 years of related experience, plus an active North Carolina pharmacist license.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; must possess an active unrestricted North Carolina state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM), including benefit design and clinical configuration.
Experience working with state agencies and Medicaid health plans.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
Provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and support PBM field sales team during RFP processes.
Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.
