The University of California - San Diego Medical Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee medication access programs and workflows within pharmacy operations, ensuring compliant and patient-centered services.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and financial teams to improve patient access, optimize program performance, and support organizational priorities, while guiding staff training and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

7+ years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus 3 years of related experience.
Pharmacy Technician License in California.
Knowledge of pharmacy industry trends and best practices for medication optimization.
Familiarity with Pharmacy Department policies, storage, safety, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated leadership in training staff on technical skills to prepare and compound medications.
Ability to prioritize and manage staff and unit operations to meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication to explain concepts and advise staff.
Ability to train others to use clinical documentation applications and pharmacy database software.
