Premier Community HealthCare Group in Spring Hill, FL seeks a Patient Access Specialist to coordinate prescriptions, referrals, and financial assistance for patients needing medications.

You will work with providers and our in-house pharmacy, navigate insurance barriers, and support operations with Epic and related systems. Florida tech registration and a PTCB-CPhT are preferred but not required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Current Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB-CPhT).
• 1-2 years of pharmacy, patient access, medication access, or healthcare customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of prior authorizations and medication assistance programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and annual compliance.

Mansioni

• Coordinate prescriptions and referrals between providers and the in-house pharmacy.
• Connect eligible patients with pharmacy services and guide them through the process.
• Help patients navigate insurance barriers, prior authorizations, and assistance programs.
• Follow up on referrals, prescriptions, pickup, and delivery to keep care moving.
• Use Epic and pharmacy systems to track patient needs and prescription status.
• Support pharmacy operations and step in as a Pharmacy Technician when needed.
