Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in daily operations of a community pharmacy. Responsibilities include maintaining policy compliance, inventory management, and patient service, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program or High School Diploma/GED with a Pharmacy certificate.
• Florida Board of Pharmacy Registration.
• Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure (National) preferred.
• Active BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience.
• Computer literacy; basic Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with CFHC policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with CFHC Exposure Control Plan.
• Participate in quality improvement and OSHA safety processes.
• Oversee cash handling and daily deposits on assigned tills.
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and patient care; train new staff.
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, stocking, and addressing discrepancies.
• Support with third-party audits, claims processing and reimbursements.
• Engage with patients to provide a positive customer experience and HIPAA compliance.
