Qualifications

• 1-2 years' technician experience
• Previous hospital or outpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Experience with prescription processing and third-party billing
• Familiarity with pharmacy regulations and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and staff regarding workflow changes and drug information
• Assist with prior authorization requests, co-pay programs, and benefits investigations
• Process prior authorization requests within prescribed timelines and enroll patients in assistance programs
• Educate staff on third-party billing policies and procedures
• Handle prescription audits and inventory coordination in collaboration with pharmacy operations
• Lead or support process improvements and coordination between pharmacy and other departments
