The Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Pharmacology at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) in Bentonville, Arkansas joins an interdisciplinary team to design and deliver a four-year curriculum that weaves pharmacology with microbiology, pathology, and pharmacogenomics for allopathic medical students.

Formación

• Doctoral degree and proven teaching excellence in higher education.
• Experience in pharmacology content delivery within LCME/COCA accredited programs preferred.
• Curriculum development and assessment tool design experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines (e.g., microbiology, pathology).
• Familiarity with active learning modalities (CBL, PBL, TBL) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop curriculum and clinical narratives for Pharmacology with diverse assessment tools.
• Teach using active learning; create pre-session and in-session materials; facilitate sessions.
• Map objectives to curriculum; assess and ensure student achievement of learning outcomes.
• Participate in leadership and committees within the medical school.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and educational methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
