Job summary

START Center for Cancer Research in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX seeks a Pharmacokinetic (PK) Lab Technician to support the investigation team under SOPs and GLPs.

You will receive, process, store, and ship biospecimens, record data, maintain equipment, and assist with inventory and administrative tasks in the Pharmacokinetic Department.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong attention to detail with good communication; labs require flexibility for on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• General knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Organizational skills to troubleshoot unplanned situations while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations for sample processing and shipping.
• Receive, process, store, and ship biospecimens per study specifications.
• Prepare research sample collection supplies per study specs.
• Adhere to SOPs and GLPs.
• Record data in electronic systems per SOPs and GLPs.
