Job summary

Prime Physicians Group in Tsaile, AZ is seeking a Pharmacist for a 1+ year role (or 13 weeks) starting May 2025. Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has a BPharm, active license in any US state, BLS, ACLS preferred, immunization certification preferred. Requires 3 years of experience with 12 months in the specialty and strong EHR documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B Pharm) or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of pharmacist experience with at least 12 months in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacist Duties & Responsibilities: The contractor must perform pharmacist duties, manage patient needs, and adhere to the job series as directed by the Service Unit and Supervisor.
• Competency Standards Compliance: The contractor must meet the competency standards outlined.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Usage: The contractor must document patient care using the PHC EHR system, ensuring accurate, timely, and organized medical records in a compliance with Joint Commission (JC) standards.
• Training & Documentation Compliance: The contractor is responsible for using PHC training resources to develop competency in the EHR system and completing clinical data reports in a timely manner.
• Departmental Peer Review: The contractor is subject to departmental peer reviews as per Joint Commission standards.
• Medical Information Management: All patient information must be managed in accordance with HIPAA, the Privacy Act, or Health Center policies.
• Medical Records Accuracy: 100% of medical records must meet IHS Medical Facility, JCAHO, and CMS standards, ensuring timeliness, legibility, accuracy, and proper documentation (e.g., date, time, signature).
