Select Specialty Hospital Grand Rapids is seeking a Pharmacist - PRN/Per Diem to support inpatient post-ICU recovery services on the 5th floor of Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The position offers $62.00 per hour with competitive night/weekend differentials.

You will apply expertise in drug distribution, central operations and IV admixture, provide clinical support, maintain adequate drug supplies, and educate patients about discharge medications.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Having working knowledge of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on medications to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
