Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri 10:00 am–6:30 pm) with one weekend per month. Compensation ranges from $53.00 to $70.00 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The role includes drug distribution, IV admixture, clinical support, and patient education at a national post-ICU care facility. Minimum qualifications include active state licensure and BLS if required; PharmD or BS Pharm with residency is preferred.

• Pharmacist license/registration in state.
• BLS certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of pharmacy services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of hospital pharmacy in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

• As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
