Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's level degree in Pharmacy OR PharmD from accredited Pharmacy College.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state.
• One to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets prescriptions, checks for drug interactions and allergies, and guides technicians.
• Counsels patients in person and by phone; explains how to take medications and answers questions.
• Reviews inventory daily and places orders to maintain adequate supply.
• Ensures proper billing and compliance with insurance plans and laws.
• Maintains license and professional knowledge; adheres to company procedures and state regulations.
• Develops professional relationships with patients and colleagues; supports store profitability.
