Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking a full-time Pharmacist for our Oakland Pharmacy in Oakland, IA. The role involves counseling patients, supervising Pharmacy Technicians, and ensuring services meet professional standards and state laws.

Under indirect supervision, you will fill prescriptions, review drug interactions, manage inventory, and participate in billing compliance. A Bachelor’s or PharmD and an active license are required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from accredited Pharmacy College.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state.
• One to two years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and interpret prescriber orders; supervise Technicians and ensure accuracy.
• Counsel patients over the phone and in person about medication usage and expectations; consult with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Review inventory daily and place orders to maintain adequate supply without overstocking.
• Ensure proper billing per insurance plans, CMS, and board requirements.
• Comply with all company procedures and federal/state laws, rules, and regulations.
