Job summary

ShopRite of Hazlet in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately and provide knowledgeable, friendly service to customers within a busy retail pharmacy.

The role requires current pharmacist licensure, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with healthcare teams to support patient safety and adherence. This part-time or full-time position offers benefits and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted state Pharmacist license/registration.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Must not be on federal exclusion lists.
• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by continuing education and workshops.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and HIPAA requirements.
• Manage inventory and ensure security of the Pharmacy Department.
• Monitor therapies and provide immunizations where applicable.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of staff.
