Job summary

ShopRite of Waretown is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver accurate prescription dispensing and compassionate, knowledgeable service to customers. You will ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

The role includes mentoring pharmacy staff, performing MTM and immunizations where applicable, and maintaining high standards for safety and accuracy in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted state Pharmacist license, registration, immunization license or certification in state where employed.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Must not be on federal government exclusion lists related to health program participation.
• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service with current prescription information.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Comply with state/federal drug laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and security per policies.
• Dispense medications accurately and legally while following company policy.
• Monitor therapies and advise on appropriate interventions.
• Support MTM, immunizations, and chronic disease management where applicable.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain open communication with staff.
