Job summary

ShopRite Marlboro Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to deliver safe, accurate dispensing and provide attentive service to customers in Marlboro, NJ. You will manage medication therapy, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff while supporting patient safety and adherence.

The position requires a current pharmacist license, strong communication, and the ability to work on site in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted pharmacist license in the state.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service with accurate prescription information.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge and attend educational workshops.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Manage pharmacy inventory in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Dispense medications accurately and review physician orders for safety.
• Monitor drug therapies and support chronic disease management initiatives.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff while maintaining audits.
• Promote medication adherence and use pharmacy management tools.
