Job summary

ShopRite Hazlet is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in providing medications and healthcare products with the highest level of customer care. You will process prescriptions, input patient information, and stock the pharmacy area while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires you to read, write, and speak English proficiently, stand for long periods, and handle lifting up to 50 lbs. Training will cover state regulations, HIPAA, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Process prescriptions and input patient information.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescriptions and labeling.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of the Pharmacy Department.
