Job summary

Kroger is seeking a pharmacist to join our Oregon pharmacy team. The role focuses on accurate prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, vaccine administration, and ensuring compliance with all laws and company policies.

You will help maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and uphold Kroger’s standards of service. The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a current state license, plus strong communication and math skills to manage day-to-day operations and dosage

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and state licensure in good standing.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Solid math skills for dosage calculations.
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines when needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adherence to standards.
• Monitor inventory, scheduling, and equipment operation.
• Maintain records for legal compliance and reporting.
• Ensure proper handling of scheduled drugs and returns.
