Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Oregon seeks a licensed Pharmacist to fulfill prescription needs, counsel patients, and administer vaccines while ensuring compliance with laws and company standards. You will help maintain a professional pharmacy environment and contribute to sales and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Pharmacy, active state licensure, and strong communication skills. Retail experience is a plus; fluency in another language is desired.

Qualifications

• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor inventory, record keeping, budgeting, and scheduling per policy.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and compliance requirements.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and audits are used appropriately.
