Based in Portland, Oregon, The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Fred Meyer pharmacy team.

You will fulfill prescription needs with a focus on accuracy, counsel patients, and administer vaccines while ensuring compliance with all laws and maintaining a professional image in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a Pharmacy degree, active state licensure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing required.
• Effective oral/written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations required.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
• Gain knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock, inventory, policies, and budgets per policy.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs (controlled substances).
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits.
• Establish record keeping practices for legal compliance.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and professional appearance.
• Handle returns per policy and maintain equipment.
• Maintain policy manuals and staff training.
• Maintain proper signage in all areas.
• Broaden personal knowledge and skills.
• Work cooperatively in high paced environments.
• Manage conflict cooperatively and with integrity.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
