Job summary

Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Summit, Missouri to assist customers with pharmaceutical needs and wellness services in a courteous, safe manner.

Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge, you will supervise the department in their absence, dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining records and training staff.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist License in good standing.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• A valid driver''s license is required for deliveries.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pharmacy department in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine ingredients.
• Instruct interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy matters.
• Maintain procedures for quality assurance and safety of controlled substances.
