Job summary

Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Missouri, part-time evenings till 8PM and weekends, located at 937 NE Woods Chapel Road, Lee Summit. The role supports customers with pharmaceutical and wellness needs, reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge.

This non-exempt, on-site position emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (preferred) and pharmacy-related certification (preferred), plus familiarity with pharmacy

Qualifications

• Completion of ongoing training as listed on Cosentino Learning Plan.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Pharmacy Software and POS System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
• Receives prescriptions from customers for filling and assists with pickups.
• Verifies name and address and legibility of prescriber’s name.
• Processes cash register transactions for prescriptions.
• Provides instructions, side effects and med information to customers.
• Arranges consultations with Pharmacist when requested.
• Obtains signatures from customers for prescriptions.
• Answers calls and directs to Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Completes third-party documentation and files patient profiles.
• Maintains cleanliness of shelves and work areas.
