Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a pharmacist who combines patient-centered care with clinical expertise. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, counsel patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure in their district, and certification as an immunizer or willingness to obtain it within 90 days. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
