Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver clinical services including immunizations. You’ll ensure safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring staff in a collaborative environment.

Applicants should have a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy and an active pharmacist license, with immunizer credentials or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable states.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects and cost-saving options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations and testing as needed.
• Ensure safety through accurate dispensing, compounding and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
