Job summary

CVS Health in Sun Valley, NV is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient care, ensure safe dispensing, and coach the pharmacy team. You will act as a trusted clinical resource, manage daily operations, and support the Pharmacy Manager in achieving service excellence while maintaining compliance with regulations.

You will immunize, counsel patients, resolve insurance issues, and help keep inventory safe and accurate.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by delivering safe and accurate dispensing and counseling.
• Overseeing the pharmacy during bench shifts as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assisting with immunizations and patient care to improve outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and safety practices.
• Coaching the pharmacy team and maintaining inventory accuracy and workflows.
