Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department in Missouri. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while contributing to wellness programs and community outreach.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree with an active license, has 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and is capable of administering immunizations in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
• Ability to administer immunizations required

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and annual audits
• Support pharmacy team and participate in education and training
• Market pharmacy services through outreach to schools and clinics
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements
