Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. seeks a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, support your pharmacy team, and help drive growth through wellness programs and community outreach.

This fast-paced retail role requires exceptional customer service, HIPAA privacy, OBRA '90 compliance, and accurate inventory and immunization administration when certified.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; continuing education to keep license active.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations if certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and laws.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and overall inventory control.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and maintain privacy per HIPAA.
• Coach and train staff, support wellness programs and community outreach.
• Report to Pharmacy Manager and collaborate with other departments.
