Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Pharmacist in the Indianapolis area to ensure accurate dispensing and compassionate patient counseling. You will oversee technicians, manage stock, and maintain compliance with regulations while delivering high-quality service in a retail pharmacy setting.

The role requires a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent with a valid pharmacy license and strong knowledge of HIPAA, immunization protocols, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing for the state of operation.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred; strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to lead and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and dispense prescriptions accurately and professionally.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns as needed.
• Maintain inventory, cycle counts and accurate pharmacy records.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company programs.
• Provide medication counseling and advise on drug interactions and storage.
