Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD in Pharmacy; Doctorate preferred.
• Three years of experience in pharmaceutical department.
• Indiana Pharmacy License in good standing required.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• Strong HIPAA knowledge and pharmacy laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescription and refill requests from customers and clinics and fill accurately and professionally.
• Dispense medications as prescribed; supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Provide medication counseling and advise on drug interactions, storage, and side effects.
• Order, stock, and perform cycle counts for prescription and OTC items; maintain inventory.
• Maintain pharmacy records, insurance forms, and registries in compliance with regulations.
• Lead or oversee pharmacy staff to ensure efficient, accurate service; communicate with Pharmacy Manager.
