JobRx, Inc. is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Winchester, Virginia. In this role, you will utilize your clinical and operational expertise to provide safe, effective care for our patients. Responsibilities include assisting healthcare professionals and managing medication delivery.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors in Pharmacy or Pharm D, along with a Virginia or West Virginia Pharmacy License. We offer competitive benefits including health, dental, and generous paid time off.
Pharmacists exercise their clinical and operational expertise on a daily basis to provide safe and effective care to our patients. In this key role, you will be assisting physicians and nurses in making the best decisions regarding each patient's pharmacotherapy. You will also work in tandem with our pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medications, and sensible inventory management.
Each of our pharmacists is trained in a variety of skills, including critical‑care pharmacy, internal medicine, multi‑disciplinary rounding, NICU/pediatrics, chemotherapy, sterile compounding, medication reconciliation, OR and anesthesia medicine, therapeutic drug monitoring, anticoagulation, antimicrobial stewardship, and central pharmacy operations.
Ideally, you have prior experience working in hospital pharmacy or completed residency training. Experience with Epic electronic medical record and Pyxis automated dispensing is also preferred. Bachelors Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
Experience with Epic pharmacy systems and Pyxis preferred.
Virginia OR West Virginia Pharmacy License required (or acquired within 90 days of hire). Must possess license for entity location.
Must be knowledgeable about medications, their pharmacology and dosage ranges for use in neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
