Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Part Time Staff Pharmacist for our TMH Retail Pharmacy location in Tallahassee, FL. This role focuses on outpatient pharmacy within a patient care transition model.

You will review prescriptions, compound medications when needed, and provide guidance on drug interactions, dosing, and storage while upholding quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Current Florida license in good standing to practice pharmacy.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with policies and laws.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to outstanding customer service and teamwork.
• Proficient in operating pharmacy software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews prescriptions issued by physician or other authorized prescriber to ensure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients.
• Compounds medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable.
• Answers questions and provides information to customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory.

• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.


• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
