Qualifications
- MA state registered pharmacy technician license is required.
- Nationally certified pharmacy technician preferred.
- In good standing with the Massachusetts state pharmacy board.
- Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
- High school diploma required.
- Strong customer service, professionalism and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently.
- Accept written prescriptions or refill requests and evaluate for completeness and accuracy.
- Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
- Deliver quality customer service to patients and respond to inquiries.
- Count and package medications, create labels, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
- Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and supplies.

Salary Range: $21-$26 per hour.

- Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
